About the opportunity:

Help set the benchmark for workshop excellence, and play a critical part in delivering exceptional customer outcomes while mentoring the next generation of technicians.

This role is responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer and safety standards. The successful candidate will:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Inspect vehicles and identify potential issues to ensure reliability and safety
• Work efficiently to meet workshop targets while maintaining high quality workmanship
• Mentor junior technicians and share your expertise across the team
• Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair orders and diagnosing problem jobs
• Carry out diagnosis on vehicles to a high standard, reporting findings correctly with use of Triage program for visibility to the customer and warranty compliance

About you:

You’re the technician others turn to when it gets tough - a trusted expert who takes pride in solving the unsolvable, setting the standard, and leading from the front. You will bring a commitment to delivering quality workmanship while supporting efficient workshop operations.

You will also:

• Have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with various vehicle systems
• Show excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
