We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Foreman, to work in our busy Mercedes-Benz workshop in Warwick Farm.

About the position:

• Manage daily tasks and productivity for a team of technicians
• Prioritise repair orders in the workshop to ensure on time completion and assist with technical problem solving
• Recommend additional work that is needed to the service adviser team so the customer can be notified
• Ensure work repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures 
• Maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment; follow safety practices
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area and customer vehicles
• Assist in expediting of parts orders to avoid delays
• Give special attention to repeat repairs, so the problem is correct this time and future comebacks are avoided

About you:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience and relevant trade qualifications
• Previous workshop controller or foreman experience preferred
• A current driver's licence
• Excellent time management and leadership skills
• Ability to mentor apprentices
• MVTC essential
• Air-Conditioning Licence preferred not essential
• ASCIS & AUVIS Licence preferred not essential
• Ability to follow WHS policies and procedures and “Work Safe”
• Demonstrate care and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Can work well within large teams and follow processes and instructions
