General Manager - Aston Martin

We are seeking a highly experienced Automotive General Manager with a strong background in premium and luxury vehicle brands. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of exceeding volume and revenue targets, and a deep understanding of both sales and fixed operations. Position based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane QLD.

 

What the role entails:

  • Leading a dynamic driven team in providing an ultimate customer experience within all business touch points from sales to service
  • Coaching a team to exceed targets by appropriately planning activities to drive performance
  • Maintain an inventory control system that meets the needs of the dealership and customer
  • Establishing both long and short term goals for both staff and financial success
  • Ensuring a follow-up system is in place that encourages repeat business and generates leads
  • Actively managing manufacturer and stakeholder relationships
  • Effectively running the day to day requirements of the dealership

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a General Manager/Dealer Principal within a premium/luxury automotive dealership
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue goals
  • Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Effective leadership and staff management capabilities, with the ability to inspire high-performing teams
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive sales and aftersales operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A hard-working, hands-on approach, balanced with a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work culture
