About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wholesale Buyer/Valuer to join the team on a full-time basis in Warwick Farm.

The successful candidate will call on and build relationships with automotive dealers, leasing companies, attend auctions/motor vehicle tenders and monitor online websites such as carsales.com.au, social media sites and other relevant publications.

Responsibilities:

• Valuing vehicles offered for trade in
• Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
• Ensure online valuation leads are actioned
• Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
• Ensure suitable stock mix is available
• Maintain strong relationships with the team
• Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes

 Requirements for the role will involve the following:

• Previous experience working in a purchasing team
• Good knowledge of purchasing, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
• Negotiation skills
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships
