We’re growing our finance capability and are looking for a talented Dealership Accountant or Assistant Accountant to join our experienced team during an exciting growth phase.

About the role:

In this role you will play a leading role supporting our businesses by turning complex sales, margin, and inventory data into clear financial insight that improves profitability, cash flow, and smarter decision-making across the dealership.

Your duties will include, but aren't limited to:

• Overseeing financial operations across 5 dealerships in the Macarthur region

• Working with a small finance team and ensuring strong financial controls

• Delivering accurate monthly reporting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance

• Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making

About You:

This role suits a finance professional looking to position themselves for further career growth within the Automotive industry. You will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoy working closely with both operational leaders as well as the broader finance team. 

The successful candidate will bring: 

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to grow/learn
• A passion for improving processes, performance, and commercial outcomes
• Willingness to learn new software systems
• Automotive experience is welcome but not essential—we’re more interested in your commercial thinking, curiosity, and willingness to learn
• Post university qualifications such as CPA, CA or MBA considered favourably
